The Central Bank of Libya (CBL), agreed to set a framework for joint cooperation with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), on the side-lines of Saddiq Al-Kabeer’s visit to Cairo and his meeting with his Egyptian counterpart, Tarek Amer.
The CBL clarified that the partnership with its Egyptian counterpart came as a result of the discussions that took place between both sides last September, coming as a culmination of the plan aimed at building capabilities, developing performance enhancement, and transferring successful international banking expertise.
