The Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Hawij, paid a visit to the Stock Market on Tuesday, during which he met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Bashir Ashour.
Both sides followed up on the work of departments and offices and the progress of electronic trading operations in the Stock Market, calling to begin offering shares and some sukuks, such as Islamic sukuks, according to the ministry.
He stressed the importance of reactivating the Libyan Stock Market and its role in economic growth, attracting local and foreign investments, and revitalizing the small and medium enterprises sector.
