A team from the Airports Authority has visited Tobruk International Airport to inspect the automated security inspection devices, in order to determine their readiness and compliance with international standards.
“The visit comes within the framework of seeking to raise the operational efficiency of the airports, in a way that ensures that the security requirements and standards stipulated internationally are met”, the Authority stated on its Facebook page.
It also indicated that the visit aims to carry out periodic maintenance work, install spare parts for security inspection devices, and calibrate them to ensure that they work in accordance with the required procedures.
