The Administrative Control Authority (ACA) unveiled on Sunday financial irregularities of more than 17 million dollars in the administrative city project in the Malian capital of Bamako, one of the Libyan state investments in the African continent.

The Director of the Information Office of the ACA, Ayman Al-Gladi, said that the Presidential Council will issue a decision to provide the return of the amount mentioned to the Libyan national treasury, pointing out that the authority addressed the Ministry of Finance to take the necessary procedures in order to recover the project balances to the general revenue account of the Central Bank of Libya in Tripoli.

He added that the ACA urged the Central Bank of Libya not to dispose these balances until receiving instructions from the Ministry of Finance to refer them to the general revenue account.
