Reference Daily News website revealed that Libya has surpassed Nigeria as the largest oil producer in Africa, following the decrease in oil production of Nigeria over the past month.
According to a quote on the website, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries said that Libya achieved an increase in its oil production, recording one million 240 thousand barrels per day (bpd), in October, whilst Nigeria’s production decreased to approximately one million 230 thousand bpd during the same month, as compared to one million 250 thousand bpd achieved in the previous month of September.
