The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Omran Al-Qayib, called on the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) Saddiq Al-Kabeer, to issue an international credit card for the convenience of all faculty members.
In his letter to the Governor of the CBL, Al-Qayib demanded the approval of issuing an international credit card that would permit a Libyan faculty member or researcher to participate in international conferences and pay fees without hindrance.
Al-Qayib emphasized that issuing such a card to faculty members ensures that there would be no interruption of sharing knowledge between scientific and research institutions and their counterparts throughout the world.
