Accompanied by His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Mr. Ramadan Abu Jinnah, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Mr. Mustafa Sanalla, on Saturday October 9, 2021, inaugurated Abu Qadqud Hospital in the Municipality of Adiri, after the completion of the renovation and comprehensive maintenance works and supplying the necessary medical equipment for various departments. These departments include the department of Obstetrics and gynecology, children department, emergency department, and kidney dialysis department, in addition to the basic accessories such as the medical laboratory, desalination plant, backup energy sources and green spaces in order to provide the best health services and a suitable environment for the residents of the municipality of Adiri and the surrounding areas.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Ramadan Abu Jinnah, and the Chairman of NOC’s Board of Directors, Mr. Mustafa Sanalla, inspected all departments of the hospital. Adequate explanations were heard from the Manager of the hospital and the technicians of the executing company about the works carried out, the equipment that was provided, the mechanism of work, the benefits and services that this hospital will provide to the residents of Adiri and surrounding areas to mitigate their suffering.
After the opening, a welcoming ceremony was held in which a shield of honor was given to Mr. Ramadan Abu Jinnah for his tireless efforts to develop the south and an honorary shield was given to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Mr. Mustafa Sanalla, for his exceptional efforts and keenness to implement this vital project through the Department of Sustainable Development.
The opening ceremony was attended by Messrs. Ibrahim Abu Breda, Chairman of the Management Committee of Brega Oil Marketing Company, Mr. Mokhtar Abduldaem, Manager of the Sustainable Development Department at the Corporation, the Mayor of the Municipality of Adiri, and the Council of Elders and Notables of the region.
In this regard, Mr. Sanalla expressed his happiness with this warm reception, which indicates the kindness of the people of Adiri and Al Shati in general, despite their difficult situation and their urgent need for many services. He noted that the National Oil Corporation, through the Department of Sustainable Development, would continue to provide all support, and that it will not spare any effort to implement many other projects to achieve stability and advance development in the beloved south of Libya.
