Electricity connection projects in Libya is a central and strategic goal

The Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Mohamed Shaker, said that launching electricity projects in Libya to expand existing stations is a fundamental and strategic goal for both countries, in order to supply Libya with all of its energy needs.

In statements to the Middle East News Agency, Shaker explained that Egypt was successful in delivering electricity through existing projects during the recent past, indicating that work is constantly being performed in order to strengthen the connection lines with all neighbouring countries such as Libya and Sudan.
