Presidential Council hands auditing report to Libya’s Central Bank

The Libyan Presidential Council handed over the auditing report of the accounts of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) to the CBL governor and his deputy’s offices.

The Head of the Presidential Council Mohammed Menfi received the report from the UN envoy to Libya, Jan Kubis, on July 08 and hailed UNOPS for working out all technical issues facing the report that took over two years to be completed.

International Deloitte firm worked on the auditing report of the CBL accounts in Tripoli and Al-Bayda for two years in order to regain trust and transparent to the Libyan financial system and pave the way for unifying state financial institutions.
