The NOC has, at an earlier stage, also carried out a comprehensive maintenance of the facility, which we are now in the process of preparing, in order to improve and develop health services provided to citizens in Murada and neighboring areas; and to support the health sector in general.
This support comes as a moral duty towards the areas close to the oil operations. As rich Murada is in oil sites, it has not received sufficient attention in decades.
However, the NOC has previously supported the municipality of Murada in the water and electricity sector, and still continues to provide support according to available capabilities and allocated budgets. Furthermore, the Department of Sustainable Development aims to support the education sector and extend even more support to the water sector in the near future.
The handover ceremony was attended by Mr. Mustafa Al-Zawawi – Mayor of the Municipality of Murada, Mr. Ali Suleiman, a member of the Municipal Council of Murada, several notables and people from the area. In addition to Mr. Muhammad Al-Jahani and Mr. Haitham Al-Manqush from the Sustainable Development Department of the National Oil Corporation.
