The head of the Benghazi municipality’s steering council, Al-Saqr Omran Bujwari, has met the Italian Consul in Benghazi, Carlo Batori.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed many topics of common interest, including the initiative of the Italian Federation of Municipalities to support and strengthen local administration through training programs for human resources in various areas of local services, according to the municipality.
The meeting dealt with following up the procedures related to the coastal road project “Libyan-Italian Friendship Road”, working on the return of Italian companies to work in the city of Benghazi and holding meetings between Libyan and Italian businessmen.
