The Faculty of Science, in Gharyan city, held a workshop on Saturday on e-learning as part of its plan to enhance knowledge about this technology and its effectiveness in education.
The workshop covered topics like how to set up e-learning classes and the benefits of this method in terms of time, effort, and cost savings “if an appropriate infrastructure is available.”
The panelists commended the administration of the University of Gharyan for providing the equipment and human cadres for making e-learning possible for its students.
Researchers presented several scientific papers which detailed the concepts of e-learning, and the tools and scientific materials needed to roll out this project, while Dr. Ayman Abu Gharara reviewed the experience of the Gharyan College of Medicine in this area.
