The Algerian state-owned Sonelgaz Company announced that a group of its engineers is set to visit Libya to discuss investment in the maintenance of electricity networks.

The Director of External Development at Sonelgaz, Wedad Hamro, said in a statement to the Algerian media on June 7 that the delegation is hoping to expand investment in the African market, including Libya.

This comes some days after the Algerian and Libyan Energy Ministers, Mohamed Arkab and Mohamed Aun agreed to enhance partnership and investment opportunities available in various hydrocarbon activities.
