The head of the Libyan General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture,, Mohamed Al-Raed and the Spanish Director-General of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation, Inmaculada Riera, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the aim of creating a solid framework for joint cooperation.
During the signing ceremony, which was held in Tripoli on Thursday, Al-Raed expressed his hope to further strengthen the Spanish-Libyan partnership.
He stressed the importance of exchanging information and experiences, encouraging investment between both countries and cooperation in the field of training, and increasing the volume of trade exchanges.
For her part, Riera affirmed the readiness of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce to cooperate with the Libyan counterpart in organizing trade fairs and missions, in addition to organizing training workshops in many commercial and economic fields.
