NOC inaugurates the project of educational laboratories at Bright Star University, at Bregah municipality.

Today, Thursday 20th May 2021, NOC inaugurated the project of educational laboratories at Bright Star University, located at Bregah municipality in the oil crescent area. The project consists of, one renewable energy laboratory to be used by the majors of electrical and mechanical engineering; one English language laboratory with a capacity of 20 students, and two computer laboratories with a capacity of 40 students.
This inauguration is the completion of NOC efforts through its Sustainable Development Department which was aimed at providing a descent and appropriate environment in order to improve the educational outcomes and to enhance the level of educational attainment in line with the requirements of the labor market.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Massoud Suleiman, Chairman of Sirte Company for Oil and Gas Production and Processing; Dr. Raheel Saleh, Dean of Bright Star University; Mr. Faraj Al-Wafi, Secretary General of the B.S. University; Mr. Muhammad Al-Jehani and Mr. Haytham Al-Mangoush from NOC Sustainable Development Department in addition to a number of the B.S. University staff members and employees.
This support comes within a series of projects implemented by the Sustainable Development Department of NOC in the Brega region and its suburbs. Those projects include electricity, water, infrastructure and other projects. NOC along with its affiliated national companies as well as its overseas partners will continue to provide the necessary assistance and support to the extent available for all the areas adjacent to oil operations areas.
Bright Star University is one of the prestigious educational institutions which contributed in the graduation of many technical experts and workers who efficiently supported the oil sector throughout multiple stages.
