Benghazi mayor, Undersecretary of Maltese Ministry of Foreign Affairs discuss return of Maltese firms

The head of the Benghazi Municipality’s Steering Council, Al-Saqr Imran Boujwari, has discussed with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malta, Christopher Cutajar, the prospects for bilateral cooperation to implement infrastructure projects in the city.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Maltese ambassador to Libya, Charles Saliba, the two sides discussed several issues, including opening Maltese consulate in Benghazi, and the return of Maltese companies to start implementing projects in the city.

The Maltese delegation also held a meeting with the Benghazi Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, discussing opening a sea line with Malta.
