CBL Governor meets Charge d’Affairs of British Embassy in Tripoli

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Saddik Elkaber, met on Monday, at the headquarters of the CBL in Tripoli, with Kate English, the Charge d’Affairs of the British Embassy to Libya and her accompanying delegation.

The meeting dealt with a number of issues of common interest related to financial and economic affairs, in addition to cooperation between the CBL and the Government of National Unity in the fields of confronting the Coronavirus pandemic.

English showed, according to a report by the media office of the CBL, her country’s readiness to strengthen cooperation between the Libyan Financial Information Unit and its counterpart in Britain, particularly in the field of economic development.
