The Head of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah, has stated that British institutes and universities remain appropriate places for training in the gas and oil industry.
The media office of the NOC reported that Sanallah held discussions with the Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom (UK) to Libya, Kate English, on Thursday at the NOC’s headquarters.
They discussed the best means for joint cooperation in the field of oil and gas, with Sanallah expressing Libya’s desire to benefit from the UK’s expertise in these fields, along with renewable energies, aiding the protection of the environment and specifically British companies’ contribution to the development of the oil industry in Libya.
For her part, the Deputy Ambassador of the UK confirmed the expressed desire of specialized British companies to provide technical and specific advice to contribute to raising the level of production, along with advice on building capacities in the fields of oil and gas, to improve living conditions for Libya’s future.
