Libyan-Tunisian meeting held to study flow of commercial traffic at Ras Ajdir border.

The Director General of the Customs Authority in Libya, Suleiman Ali Salem, held discussions with the Tunisian Ambassador to Libya, Assaad Ajili, regarding the hurdles facing the Customs Authority at the Ras Ajdir border crossing.

This came during a meeting held at the headquarters of the General Administration of the Customs Authority in Tripoli, in which the commercial movement at the crossing and the present system in place for the flow of goods, along with other logistical matters were discussed.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Advisory Committee to Combat the Coronavirus said that it was looking into the possibility of closing the land border between Libya and Tunisia temporarily to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
