USAID delivers 38 classrooms to the municipality of Derna in Libya.

The Transitional Initiatives Office of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the delivery of 38 prefabricated classrooms, along with eight prefabricated offices to the Municipality of Derna in the latter part of 2020.

This delivery came within the framework of efforts to resume educational activity in areas which were suffering from a lack of services and facilities.

Regarding the situation in Libya, the office said that it was capable of delivering more than 11,200 classroom seats to the cities of Derna, Tripoli, Misrata and Sabha in partnership with the Ministry of Education in the Government of National Accord (GNA).
