The oil tanker Anwar Africa arrived at the port of Tripoli at dawn on Sunday, according to an announcement by the Brega Oil Marketing Company.
The company added that the tanker is carrying 25,000 tons of petrol and is prepared to enter the distribution area at the port in the hope that weather conditions improve, confirming that its delay was as a direct result of weather conditions.
The Brega Oil Company went on to reassure citizens of the availability of both petrol and diesel, calling on them not to listen to rumours spread regarding fuel shortages in the coming period.
