Members of the committee formed by the Airports Authority to follow up and maintain automated security inspection devices at Libyan airports arrived at Ghat International Airport on Tuesday.
“The committee will check up inspection devices at the airport, conduct periodic maintenance, and ensure that operations at the airport conform to the required standard,” the Airports Authority explained.
The committee conducted a visit during the past few days to the Ubari and Sabha airports.
The Airports Authority explained that this comes to ensure that the airports are operating as required in terms of security measures and the implementation of the stipulated procedures.
