The Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Processing Company said that the board of directors continued to link oil wells to the Independence Field, during an inspection tour on Saturday.
The company added in a press briefing, today, Sunday, that the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors were briefed on the stages of the operations of linking the wells FF47 and FF48 to the Independence field (formerly Al-Tahadi), noting that these wells have good production rates and were drilled in 2008 and have not been linked since that date.
A working group has been formed for these wells, and the completion rate has reached about 90%. It is expected that this well will enter production in the coming weeks.
