The Ministry of Education has decided to establish committees to manage the new academic year differently, in terms of the way in delivering lessons, as well as the time and days of schooling.

The new decision stipulates that the academic year consists of two semesters as before, but each semester will last twelve weeks.

Students are required to attend the classes three days a week, while each class will take 50 minutes, provided that the daily lessons do not exceed six sessions.

There will be no examination period, according to the new decision, instead, the students will be tested at the end of each school day.

The new plan calls for defining the lessons that require teachers’ assistance and which the students cannot comprehend on their own while specifying other topics that can be studied at home through the available means such as educational platforms, and placing questions at the end of each chapter.
