Sirt oil and Halliburton… discuss new technologies for increasing production and future plans

Halliburton Oil Operations Company has reviewed the implementation process of the projects in which it has participated in the fields of fracturing wells, increasing production, electrical flow services for wells, and reservoir studies services.

This came during a meeting held this morning, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Sirte Company for the Production and Processing of Oil and Gas, attended by Halliburton: Mr. Colby Fuser, Regional Director of Halliburton Libya and Egypt, Mr. Mohamed Tlisi, Director General of Halliburton, Libya Branch, and Mr. Moataz Youssef, Director of Business Development, Deputy General Director, Libya Branch, and Mr. Khaled Palmr, director of the Benghazi office.

On the Sirte side, the meeting was attended by Mr. Masoud Suleiman, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mustafa Hammad, Member of the Board of Directors for Operations, Mr. Abdulghani Al-Rifadi, Director of the Drilling and Petroleum Engineering Department, Mr. Abdul Rahim Saleh, Supervisor of Drilling and Well Maintenance, and Mr. Abdel Nasser Abdul Rahim, Supervisor of Petroleum Engineering.

The meeting also discussed alternative ways and modern techniques in the field of tilted drilling, and the activation of closed wells.
The two parties also reviewed future plans for 2021 and how to take advantage of modern technologies to increase production.
The two parties agreed on the need to create training opportunities for engineers and employees in Sirte and to invest in creating added local value.
