Swiss SGS presented its ‘‘Early Production Facilities’’ service at a meeting yesterday with Waha Oil Company.
Waha reported that during the meeting at its Benghazi headquarters the possibility of SGS setting up oil and gas wells for production by designing and installing temporary surface equipment in a time not exceeding a few months, was discussed.
SGS also made a technical preliminary proposal showing the possibility of making use of its equipment for early production of the damaged Al Dahra field plants and restoring production in a short time.
Waha says this comes as part of its efforts to repair and rehabilitate oil wells and fields damaged during the fighting and enforced stoppage.
