Landline, mobile and internet connections have been cut off from the area between Al-Washka east of Misrata and the Thalatin area west of Sirte, State-run telephone company, Hatif Libya, reported.

According to the Libyan news agency (LANA), sources in the company were quoted as saying that the interruption of communications in the area, which extends for approximately 70 kilometers, is due to damage to the transmission towers as a result of the war on ISIS last year, in addition to theft and vandalism of equipment of towers along the coastal road.
