LISCO’s hot roll mill resumes work after maintenance stoppage.

The state Libyan Iron and Steel Company (LISCO) announced today that its hot roll mill resumed work after a few days’ hiatus.

LISCO explained that the hot roll mill’s oven had been turned off for a week, including five days to cool down, to be enable maintenance work within it.

It added that the start of operation requires the furnace temperature to reach 1250 ° C to produce the specified thicknesses required.

LISCO indicated that the return of the hot roll mill to the production of hot rolled coils will contribute to meeting market needs currently experiencing increasing demand.
