The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) has continued the operational trials of the Al-Khums emergency power station, in cooperation with the American GE company.
GECOL added in a statement that it is determined to operate the two turbines of the station in a way that ensures its safety and preservation from any damage.
It also praised the professional work that had been done by the Libyan experts in the past period to operate these turbines.
