The Libyan Ministry of Health has signed an agreement with the Italian NGO “Emergency”, under which the humanitarian organization will treat Libyan children suffering from congenital heart defects and need to undergo complicated operations.

Health Minister, Omar Al-Tahir, said that the agreement would be a way of hope for Libyan children who need complicated heart surgery by providing a good opportunity to treat them.

“The signing of this agreement comes from the responsibility of the Ministry of Health to implement policies and plans for the provision of health services to Libyans.” He added.
