The General Assembly of the Libyan Engineering Technology Company for the year 2019 was held at NOC headquarters in Tripoli, headed by NOC Chairman.
The company’s various activities in project engineering and operations management programs during 2019, the company’s financial statements, plans and future programs for 2020 and the proposed operational budgets were reviewed.
The projects that were planned, company’s readiness to contribute to the project of developing marine parts and preparing engineering studies for the project to supply Gulf Steam Station in Sirte with gas and other projects as well as training and development plans for all employees of the company and listening to the report of the monitoring body and the notes contained therein were reviewed.
NOC Chairman and members of the Board of Directors praised the company’s exceptional efforts to raise the performance of the company and advance the level of oil services in Libya as well as participation in implementation of the second phase of Bahr Al Salam project had a prominent role in the project’s success. They asked the company’s management to study the needs of the oil sector, industrial inspection, and the need to pay attention and develop the company’s technical capabilities and human cadres, through attracting experienced workers.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Libyan Technology Company explained that the company seeks to train and prepare cadres that contribute to the service of the oil sector in particular and the energy sector in general, and stressed the important role played by the opening of the company’s branch in Benghazi last October .
