An extended meeting was held on Tuesday gathering the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah, the Presidential Council (PC) head, Fayez Al-Sarraj, Ministers of Economy and Planning, Ali al-Issawi and Taher Aljahmi, and Minister of Finance Faraj Boumtari.
The meeting was dedicated to discussions on raising Libyan production and exports.
Sanallah highlighted the needs of the oil sector, including the infrastructure of ports and fields and the funds required to implement the NOC’s plans.
For his part, Sarraj discussed with Economy Minister Issawi, plans to improve the economy and the overall performance of the state institutions concerned.
