Transport Ministry reiterates “Air traffic at Mitiga Airport could be resumed in December”.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Hisham Abu Shkiwat had denied resuming operations at Mitiga International Airport on Sunday.

“Air navigation at the airport is likely to resume by mid-December,” he explained, in a press statement.

Transport Minister, Milad Matouk had emphasized during an inspection visit to the airport, accompanied by Finance Minister, Faraj Boumtari and a number of airport officials the need to expedite the completion of maintenance work at Mitiga airport, in order to resume air traffic as soon as possible.
