The General Electric Company of Libya (GECOL) announced on Sunday, the completion of the maintenance of the second steam unit at the Zawiya power station.
The company explained via Facebook, that the unit is now working with its full capacity of 140 megawatts.
It noted that maintenance work comes in preparations for the upcoming peak winter loads, and as part of the maintenance program implemented by the company, which targets several electric power production units, in order to make them fully operational before the winter peak.
