The CEO of Italian energy group Eni, Claudio Descalzi, has confirmed that the company did not face over the past ten years any security issues in Libya.
Descalzi said in remarks to the Italian news agency Nova on Thursday that the company’s work is not with oil and therefore it is not confined to stations, considering that the oil facilities are more exposed to attacks and gas is pumped through pipelines from Libya to Italy.
