On Monday morning, 14 October 2019, at the headquarters of NOC in Tripoli, a technical meeting was held between NOC.y5 and the Russian Tatnaft Oil Company.
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation between NOC and the company, especially in the areas of exploration and drilling, in addition to the work carried out by the company since 2018 and discussed the proposed program for 2020.
Tatnaft expressed its desire to continue its work in Libya when the security situation improves, to complete the geophysical survey, and the reintroduction of drilling wells and suspended service basins in Ghadames and Sirte.
The meeting was attended by NOC Director of the exploration department and the geological operations controller of the exploration department and the Director General of Tatnaft Oil Libya Branch, the Director of Exploration in the company’s branch in Libya in addition to a number of engineers and specialists from NOC and the company.
