The Government of National Accord (GNA) is to form a committee to study the draft budget, consisting of representatives from the ministries of finance, planning and economy.
The committee will receive all observations thereon in preparation for the issuance of the necessary legislation in particular, according to the Information Office of the GNA.
In the same context, the GNA reviewed the Ministry of Finance’s vision to find alternative sources of funding for the proposed budget and reduce the financial burden on the public treasury, in addition to rationalizing public spending.
