CBL head discusses with US officials economic issues in Libya.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) Saddek ElKaber has agreed with the US Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland to enhance cooperation in the economic field.

The meeting took place in Tunis, with the participation of the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for the Middle East and Africa, Eric Meyer, according to the CBL Information Office.

The two sides reviewed the financial and economic situation in Libya and reiterated the need to intensify efforts and continue to hold economic dialogue sessions, under the auspices of the US Embassy.
