Libya’s oil revenues account for LYD 20.2 billion in first eight months of 2019.

Libya’s Oil revenues have accounted for LYD 20.2 billion dinars in the first eight months of this year, the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) confirmed.

The total government spending in the same period amounted to 24.9 billion dinars, the CBL added.

The CBL issued a statement yesterday disclosing that tax revenues recorded 571 million dinars, while the bank recorded 125 million LYD of profits during the same period and a total value of 14.9 billion LYD on dollar exchange fees.

Wages of government workers amounted to 13.8 billion dinars until the end of July, according to the bank.
