Libyan Air Ambulance in talks with Health Ministry to buy Bell 429.

The head of Libyan Air Ambulance, Fathi Naji said Monday that consultations are underway with the Ministry of Health to purchase new BELL 429 helicopters.

Naji discussed during his meeting with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Mohammed Haitham monetizing the budget allocated for the sector and providing operating supplies for aircraft, in addition to the training of new pilots.

The meeting reviewed the maintenance performed to one of the service’s planes, which has been out of service since 2015 and is expected to be ready to rejoin the service’s fleet by mid-September.
