Libya and Hungary agreed on signing a cooperation agreement in the health domain between the two countries, comprising the implementation of training programs for Libyan health workers in Hungary.
The agreement came upon a proposal made by the Libyan Health Ministry, provided that the agreement is to be finalized in subsequent visits.
This came during a meeting held at the ministry’s HQ between the Undersecretary-General of the Libyan Health Ministry and the charge d’affaires in the Hungarian embassy in Tripoli on Saturday.
Several important files were discussed, including ways to enhance cooperation in medical fields, as well as developing a mechanism for treating the war-wounded of Libyans and facilitating procedures for granting Hungarian visas to patients and wounded.
The meeting also reviewed organizing visits of Hungarian specialists to Libyan hospitals and clinics According to a statement by the Ministry of Health.
