The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced the re-running of the second industrial complex of the Sarir oilfield, which was shut down last May due to a technical malfunction.
“The re-operation of the complex will help restore production capacity and will boost the output to around 60 thousand barrels per day,” NOC said in a statement.
The current production of the Sarir oilfield stands at about 155 thousand barrels per day.
