Minister of State for the structuring of institutions and Minister of labor & rehabilitation held a meeting with a number of delegates from the ministries of labor and rehabilitation, economy, industry, finance and the Audit Bureau to discuss the program of administrative reform and address inflation in the public sector.
The final report of the surplus staff transferred to the regional labour offices, the issue of addressing administrative inflation in the public sector and the mechanism for approving the organizational charts and decisions for previous years were discussed in the meeting.
The meeting also discussed activating the support of small and medium enterprises and creating youth entrepreneurship projects through the Financial Facilities Fund at the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation, as well as developing a plan to support and encourage the private sector to employ job seekers. It was agreed on establishment of controls and limits for recruitment and to form a committee from Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Labour and membership of the Audit Bureau and the Administrative Control Authority to establish mechanisms and controls for the release of salaries.
