NOC supports development of drilling activities in the oil sector to increase the production capacity of the fields and ensure the continued supply of coastal power plants’ needs of gas.
The well was tested on Sunday, 12th May 2019 and was drilled using the new Afron Drilling Technique under the supervision of Al Jouf Company.
Sirte Company is responsible for the gas transportation system and the coastal gas pipelines from Benina to Mellitah, which transport natural gas, which provides industrial facilities, power plants and desalination plants.
