5th course: candidate form for the training course of trainers in the safety of digital – Tunis is for contribution in technological development and spread of online over the last two decades in the development of the work of the civil society and opening new Horizons. The development will also contribute in the expansion of the civil space.
Investment of opportunities offered by Information Communication Technology generally became in the heart of the work of the civil society ambitions. However, the opportunities provided by the information and communication technologies do not come without risk or constraints.
In order to support the capacity of civil society organizations in using safely the means of technology and information and mitigation of risk and digital threats, the Innovation to change – middle East and North Africa with the collaboration of the youth society without borders – Tunis Simsim Association and Jordan partners organized a series of training courses in the field of digital safety in each of Morocco, Tunis, Jordan, Lebanon.
Thus youth society without borders announces registration in the 5th session of the training of trainers course for the benefit of civil society organizations in the States of North Africa, which will be organized from 24th to 28th June 2019 in Tunis.
Participants in the course will benefit from an integrated and comprehensive program about techniques of safety digital and the latest information about digital risks and how to deal with it.
The Topics which will be covered in the session include virus protection, protection of email, deleting or restoring files safely in addition to managing the password.
Participants will receive information about the risk that come with the use of digital technology with the knowledge and tools necessary to evaluate the risk. Participants adopt the best digital practices to work safely in different digital environments.
Participation terms:
– Candidates must be staff members in charge of the systems of Informatics (it manager) for civil society.
– Candidate must be from Tunis or Algeria or Mauritania or Libya or Morocco.
– Candidate is obliged in working to support the capacity of civil society organizations in the field of digital safety.
– Candidate must be interested in safety digital systems and seek to publish the systems.
– Candidate must have skills and knowledge in using means of social media and programs online. – Candidates are committed to participate in forming members of staff and civil society organizations about digital safety at the end of the session.
Last day for submission of applications is on 27th May 2019 at 04.00 hrs, GMT Tunis.
It should be noted that the organization will bear all travel and accommodation for participants who are from outside the Republic of Tunis and those who will be selected. (Priority is given to civil society organizations members of the middle East and North Africa network innovation to change).
