Brega Oil Marketing Company announced the suspension of fuel and gas shipments from the warehouses of Misurata and Zawiya to conflict-affected areas in the central, southern, and western regions.

“The suspension of fuel shipments to these areas was due to the deteriorating security situation resulting from the clashes along the supplying routes, in addition to the fear of the truck drivers and their unwillingness to take risks under such circumstances,” the company explained.

It also warned that any interruption or disturbance to the supplying operations of fuel and liquefied gas would have a devastating impact on the people’s everyday life.
