The General Electric Company of Libya (GECOL) confirmed that it started maintaining Qasr bin Ghashir power distribution station on Saturday after being hit in the recent clashes in the region.

“The medium voltage circuits have been cut off in areas south of Tripoli, including Wadi Al-Rabi, AlHadhba, Qasr bin Ghashir, and Yarmouk area,” the company’s information office clarified, pointing out that about ten power lines have been damaged in areas south of Tripoli, which led to power outages in large parts of the capital and for continuous days.
