Confederation of Libyan Industries calls for further action to protect local industry

The Executive Director of the Confederation of Libyan Industries, Ali Nasir demanded to provide a conducive environment for domestic industries.

“The state’s support for the local production remains “ink on paper”, without any effective action,” Nasir said in a press statement, pointing out that the confederation of industry in its full composition agree on the need to protect the local product through trade restrictions, including establishing fees on trading companies supplying goods from abroad.
