The Agency clarified through its Facebook page that the assistance was provided by the Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees and included covers, cookware and light bulbs.

The south branch of the Agency said that the assistance was distributed to the displaced families who fled the areas of Sabha’s airport and Tayuri neighbourhood.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees recorded in the latest statistics the displacement of more than 1500 families from their homes in the southern region from the cities of Sabha, Ubari and Murzuq.
