Power restored in eastern Libya following a total outage.

Electricity has been restored to most cities of the eastern region after the total blackout that occurred in the past two days, the head of the Information Office of the General Electricity Company, Mohamed Takouri confirmed.

Takouri explained in a press statement that all the power plants have entered the operational stage and will reach their full capacity in the coming days.

He further added that the deficit in power will be addressed by load shedding for specific hours until the generation plants reach their full operation.
